The ever happening place in Jaipur, Jawahar Kala Kendra was the witness of a mesmerizing event on the eve of the birthday of evergreen hero Dev Anand on 26th September. The attraction of the event was the presence of veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who has worked with Dev Sahab in several films. While recalling the experience of working with Devanand, Zeenat mentioned that he was dedicated, single-minded, focused, cheering and she never saw him tensed, angry or tired. She recalled how Dev Sahab selected her for the role in the movie Hare Rama Hare Krishna in spite of the fact that she was not good at speaking in Hindi. “He was a very optimistic actor, filmmaker and writer.” Said the actress. An event organized by the evergreen Dev Anand Society and JKK was purposed to bring the memories of Dev Anand alive on the eve of his 97th birthday. On the occasion, a postal cover was also released by Indian postal and telegraph Department.
The program was chaired by Art & Culture Minister of Rajasthan Government, Mr B.D. Kalla. The actress was also felicitated by the organizers of the function. The minister Mr B.D. Kalla along with the actress Zeenat Aman and others also unveiled a stamp on Dev Anand.
