Keeping a tune with their annual ritual, Aakar art group organized exhibition at jawahar kala kendra, Jaipur from 25th December to 30th December. The exhibition was a true delight for the art lovers of the city. The exhibition was a demonstration of creations from 27 artists of different styles. This was a wide array of art frames from the artists of different genre. While some of the work was focused on social structure, few of these were the presentation of the deep emotional connect with self while you are on the journey of self-introduction. The exhibition was a real presentation of artists of unique style and the art frames designed using different mediums. From the show of sweet moments of love with beloved to the collection of excellent & impressive pieces of art using effective color combinations & experimental style of art were eye catchers of the event.
“This exhibition is showcasing collections of almost all the medium used for creating art pieces like water color, oil paints, soft pastel, screen printing, paper scraps, rotring pen drawing, Wash paintings, photography, and miniature collage” says Uma Sharma, artist from Mathura and one of the member of the Aakar art group. Uma Sharma showcased her mettle of art by a collection of deeply communicative frames created using paper scraps. “This exhibition is an effort to showcase the best of the art work and we organize this event every year in the last week of the year” adds Uma.
Jaipuraffairs.com also had a chance to interact with young artist Niveditaa Pathak from Ajmer at the exhibition. “My drawing are not just portraits of human beings, but my efforts and energy is directed to bring out his/her mind to the frame “ says Niveditaa about her work, who has joined the art group this year only. “There were times when large portraits used to be pride statements of the drawing rooms of riche’s and powerful’s but now this is a style of art almost on the verge of obscurity . My focus is to revive this style of art and to the best of my knowledge, I may be one of the very few artists who are working on this style of drawing art.” adds Niveditaa.
Other vivid & impressive works which caught our attention were, ‘ Singers’ by Prhlad Sharma, ‘Lines with Color ‘ by Vinay Trivedi, ‘Devi’ by Dr. Suresh prajapti, ‘Relation’ by Gopal Acharya, ‘Hum Tum’ By Ramesh Sharma.
