Women are the ones who suffer from cruelty from their alcoholic husband. He behaves in a very inhuman manner throwing things around the house and ordering in the house. He only wants people to behave in the way he wishes. He does not think twice before he hits his wife or children.

As it is only the wife who has to look after her children, many times she also has to pacify the children. She has to handle them or else even the children are affected significantly in their childhood as many times it is the intoxicated father who has molested them.
The emotional trauma that a woman goes through during such times is tremendous and is simply an onlooker who is helpless, yet at great pain when she sees her children being the victim of their father.
5. Financial crunch
Yes, there is always a need for money in the home. Whatever is left in the house is taken away by the alcoholic husband to buy a bottle or drink at the bar. The needs of the family are always ignored and many times there is no money to buy food. The pain that a mother goes through is unbearable, and as there is abuse and beating going on in the house, there is a lot of disturbances every day in the house.
6. No earning member
Of course, an alcoholic person does not have a regular income as nobody wants a drunk on the job. So he is either begging from his friends or his wife if she is working. He never wants to work even for his drink and always steals money from the house or sells things from the house itself to get a drink.
7. No social life
Yes, an alcoholic person does not have a social life as there are no friends or relatives. The one who suffers most is the wife here. She is not invited at parties or events as she might get her husband with her and create a scene, and that is why everyone avoids her. This leads to many issues as the children too are often teased at school and by the neighbors.
8. Lonely feeling
The wife is the only member who has to look after the house, the kids, a job and her husband. In return what she gets is loneliness and sense of loss. There is a kind of depression state that looms in the house and does not leave anyone happy.
